A political section

I know that this is a model forum but I want to suggest to create a section for those who want to speak for issues beyond miniatures and speak with more freedom,perhaps more intensity, about politics,wars,our hobby and its problems,the global economical crisis,women,our children and their future, etc. in a civilised level but if some times this is not possible ok no problem,when our nerves calm down we will apology each other.

Not no but hell no. We have too many people from too many places and I for one do not need to see our daily nonsense trotted out at the one place I find refuge from this stuff. You can join the comments forum on any newspaper and participate politically whenever you want with others who want to see this stuff, but I personally am sick of politics dominating my every waking moment and would much rather read about anything but. I stongly suggest that the best way to shut this site down is to encourage politically charged exchanges.

William if there was such a section nobody will force anyone to participate or even to read and if someone says nonsense you just ignore him,but I believe that a lot of people here are enough serious to make a real and edifying conversation even if they disagree.

I agree with Steve in that it is unnecessary and only leads to endless flame wars, bruised egos and can spin the forum into something it isn't or at least shouldn't become. Sticking to the subject at hand has been most beneficial since the inception of the forum and I would hate to see it derailed into something that is counter productive.

There are numerous venues for such conversations and I avoid those places as well. If I have something to say about politics I make a model instead.

I don't suggest to transform this excellent forum to something else,I would never want something like this and I am also negative in such a perspective,but I want only to expand the functions of the forum and I don't believe that this leads the site to shut down on the contrary I believe that it will give some dynamic.

Everyone is entitled to put a suggestion foward on this forum but Sorry this political section is not going to happen on this forum.

Agreed! You can make enemies for political reasons with those that could be your best friends if only related to the hobby

If you want a political forum this place is not the place, is out there some political forum I guess. I hate everything about political, specially in my country, I see political situation any place here, so, I don't need to see more in PF.

Look Dan I don't want to go "somewhere" I don't need a forum to tell someone about his mother or send him to hell,I believe that I can discuss with you for example or anyone else in this forum civilised,even if we don't agree,all around us are politics not specifically politicians,we are not living "alone" in our "magic" own world,don't be afraid to talk.
