That's a great figure! I don't think anyone has done this subject before. I remember reading stories from Americans who noted, when we met the Soviets at Torgau, that so many of the Russian soldiers were very musical. Some had carried instruments with them, but I remember a story that they had just plundered a nearby harmonica factory (Hoehner, maybe?) and that as the GIs and Ivans celebrated, it was to such spontaneous musical accompaniment. I think Andy Rooney wrote about one such story.
