Completed Critique Achab, Scale75 bust

Hello Friends, finally i didn't change the scarf as i decided to keep the original idea of a "Lordish" Achab
Today i finished it working with Inks from Scale75 to reach the hues i was after from the beginning.
I can't wait to read your comments, good or bad : shoot'em i'm a big boy and i want to improve my painting !

Fantastic! Can I ask how you painted the leather jacket?

Gary : the leather was first painted with a very dark violet brown, then using more and more light browns i did the texture by painting scratches, dots etc. a very fun and random work indeed. and once satisfied i finally used chestnut ink from scale75 to blend all different hues together. that's pretty much it

He does have that gentleman going hunting aura "Lordish"
Like I said before I cannot knock the painting, I'm glad you stuck to your guns on this one, when you think it's right it's right
Nice touch with the smoke, looks convincing.

Landrotten : the "smoke" is made with stuffing fibers (the one you can find in a teddy bear) it took a little part and super glued it. then i cut it to size
