Hi,

can anyone help me with the mixes for confederate grey (brownish amd blueish) with Vallejo acrylics? If you can join light and shadows as well it would be wonderful.

Thanks.

Cheers,
Paulo

P.S. I forgot to add white hair also.

I'm not that familiar with the mixed colours that Vallejo offer except from their colour charts, but blue greys are very easy to mix from scratch - start with a simple blend of black and white (this will already be blueish) and then just add in a dot of blue.

Highlight with additional white, adding a dot of skintone or a leather colour if you think it's necessary. Shade with a little dark brown and/or black mixed into the midtone.

Any brownish greys could also be simply mixed starting with white, then add in some of a dark brown and a dot of blue or black.

Basecoat off-white.
Highlight using a lighter mix, saving pure white for some touches on the highest spots.
Shade with a slightly darker mix of the basecoat.
