My new project. Sometimes I get tired of painting busts. Then I have to make smaller dioramas and 54 mm is the best scale for them.
Figures are from ICM and a few MB.
15 figures at all.
Almost all figures are converted to match the later pose in the diorama.
A first setup to see how it looks. Some details to be changed later.

After the first coat of primer the parts that still need sanding are better to see.
The base from styropor, balsawood and putty. For coloring bases I use colored chalk. I like the result better than acrylic colors and it is easier and cheaper.
My first attempt was to paint all trousers, all faces, all jackets, all weapons etc. etc.
After all I changed my mind and paint each figure from the beginning to the end. The first two soldiers in the middle are almost finished.
This way is better, I guess, cause you pay more attention to the single figure.
I will keep you updated here, hope you like what you see.
