Hello All,
I am trying to do some research for a project. Being in Iraq I do not have access to my many books so maybe someone can help me out. Attached is a photo of a cavalry carbine case. I am trying see if it is accurate or not for the American Civil War period. I have only seen these cases on cavalry set ups for the late 1800's and early 1900's. I know the usual is the carbine socket.
Has anyone ever seen these cases in any ACW references?
Thanks, Robert
