Trouser color are wide open for both ANV & AoT: brown, butternut, Cadet gray to light gray to dark gray, unbleached wool in AoT, deep sky blue in ANV from English import and always civilian trousers. Your base brown looks pretty good to me.
Echoes of Glory has 30+ pages of flags both ANV & AoT. Good reference source but you have to keep in mind 150 years of color change when dealing with the uniforms. A lot of present day "butternut" relics were originally gray. Echoes also gives you a lot of kepi options.
BTW - undyed, brown shoes were considered slave or "contraband" footwear so issued footwear was almost always black from the depot. Didn't stay that way very long in the field.
