That parts breakdown is probably OK in 1/9, but once you get down to 1/24 (the version of this figure that I have), you start wishing that those tiny parts had been cast integrally onto the figure as things start to get very fiddly and hard to work out what goes where.

There's even a 1/35 version. Best of luck to anyone brave enough to attempt that one. Not me though, I'm a modeller, not a horologist!!

LOL yes mate I know the feeling I bought the 1/35 Live Resin figure and thought it would all be attached and when I got it, it felt like it had more parts than a Dragon 1/35 Tiger 1 tank LOL

Certainly a figure full of details

As said fine in larger scales when separate but not so much in smaller

Good weapon position on this , no doubt it will b popular

Thanks again for sharing

Airborne Miniatures offers excellent Customer Service and nice original resin figures for a good price. HobbyEasy and BNAWorld also sells them, but direct from Airborne Miniatures is cheaper and Maciek accepts PayPal.

There are very few 1/9 scale modern US SOFs, and Airborne Miniatures also sells WW2 figures on his website in various scales. Many figure modelers believe that his figures are some of the best since Legend Productions stopped making 1/16 and larger resin figures.

Now Airborne Miniatures sells figures in 1/35 to 1/9 scale due to 3D scanning and printing. I highly recommend buying his figures to keep him in business and to avoid the recasters. :)

And yes, Maciek's resin figures DO resemble the computer images that you see here. His resin's details are that crisp. Best of all, Maciek knows his guns and gear and they're very accurate and close to "As modern as you can get" for the time period represented in the figure.

Good review! That is certainly a beautifully done piece, and it would be good to see somebody do a real job on it. So much to get your brushes on, and interesting camo possibilities.

Great review, thanks! The figure looks amazing and at 1/9 scale you really can see every detail sculpted.

I know what you mean about 1/35 scale figures from Airborne Miniatures... a lot of tiny parts. But once assembled, one can immediately tell it was well worth the extra effort.
