This is the latest offering form Alexander Miniatures, 75mm Roman Tribune supplied to me through the UK distributor Steve Kirtley of S.K.Miniatures.
The kit consists of 11 white metal parts and 2 resin base parts, all pieces are cast to a very high quality and the detail in each pice is excellent, very minimal seam lines and no flash.

All the part sof the kit are sandwiched between two layers of high density foam in a very sturdy cardboard box, there is a cardboard sleeve which show some nice artwork of the figure painted by Mariano Numitone.

Here we can see the six parts that make up the head and all the features including the helm crest and separate covers for the side face/cheek protectors.

3.jpg

The main torso showing the high level of detail and the positioning of the sword, you can also see that the left leg comes as a separate part.

4.jpg

The left leg fits very snug into the whole in the main torso and crosses in front of the left leg. Good level of detail again on the leg with the studs showing on the sole of the shoe.

Here we can see the main parts of the kit assembled to show the position of the head and the leg. The figure locates on the resin base using a small hole and pin in the bottom of the foot, the rear of the figure is supported on the upright part of the base.

Both arms are cast as one piece and fit exact into the locating holes of the sleeves on the main torso.

The Resin base comes in two very well cast parts. Assembly is by two post into holes in the upright part of the base, there is a small block to remove and sand on one side of one of the pices, the fit is exact and the quality is good.

Conclusion:
Another well cast figure by this up and coming company. All parts are well packed. The quality of the casting is excellent as well as the level of detail. A very nice kit for anyone who is interested in this era of history and very well priced, highly recommended.
