After trawling the internet for a 75mm figure at a reasonable price I came across three possibilities. ( A Pegaso, Best soldiers and Alexandros figure)
So I phoned my local supplier Historex to ask if they would let me open the boxes and compare the three. They were very helpful, and I decided on this figure, mainly due to it being slightly larger in the features, and vertually perfect in its casting.
The Faces and general feel of the Alexandros figures are larger than the pegaso and best soldiers ones. All three were stunning sculpts though.

The figure is suberbly cast, it took me 5 mins to clean it up ready for gluing. The metal used is very good and seems to be a high quality mix, without any potholes. As I put it on the card to photograph it, it was making slight lines like a pencil does. Hope that makes sense.

The wall which Porthos leans against is rough, but it allows me to at least do some filling, and I'm going to enjoy it. Oh the hat is super too and the second set of feathers fits straight on. All parts have indents for the various piecs to fit snuggly, and it is very easy to assemble, without any confusion.

All in all I recommend it thoroughly. Now for the assembly and painting side.

Sorry to hear that Hendryk. I'll be carefull and open the box when choosing my next figure.
Here's what I ended up with, I think I may of glued it a bit roughly. There are small gaps but nothing serious. The onlt bit I think I will milliput is where the cloak goes over the shoulder, and a bit around his waist.
