Haha, come over to the grey side

Trousers have been finished and patches added, thought i would use the same colour as the blue which will be used on the soldier, to tie them into each other. Weathered with pigments.

Couldnt resist a bit of a play with PS, last things to add is some straw to his 'hands' and maybe a bit peeking out of the jacket.

How does it take 2-3hrs to paint some bloomin trousers !, lots of shadows and highlights with greys, ivory and white tones. Could probably have skipped a few steps, and also left the back alone as nothing will be seen !

Great scarecrow , like the blue patch you've done .....you could also add some wheat stalks to the cap as feathers / plume

Trousers look good ...well spent time

Boots painted in extra dark grey, Dark washes in black and highlighted in grey, then dirtied up with Vallejo pigments. Buttons painted with Darkstar gold over a brown base;

Thanks, yep really enjoying it, mind having a pair of +7 reading glasses help a lot for the smaller detail bits
