Completed Alkiviades

Hello to all of you,
I have just finished this beauty from Pegaso. The company represents an early Roman soldier but after a minor conversion on the "Montefortino" helmet I transform it to an "Attic" helmet and the soldier became an Athenian high rank hoplite.
I represent the Athenian general Alkiviades.
The shield sign is called "Thunderthrowing Love" (Κεραυνοβόλος Έρωτας) !!! This is exactly the same expression that we (modern Greeks) still using when someone "Falling in Love".
Τhat was the personal sign of Alkiviades and because he was a high member of his clan (the "Alkmaionids") he has the right to change the old sign (the white legs "λευκόποδες") of the clan with his own one.
The figure is painted in acrylics except the metals which are painted with printers ink.
The bird is a goldfinch (καρδερίνα) and I made it by carving a piece of wood.

Duuuuude, that is awesome! What scale? That helmet must have been difficult (I see Formula 1 or NASCAR in his future). I also see that it's a clean paint; no weathering, dirt, or grime.

Φιλε Χρηστο τα εσπασες με αυτη σου τη φιγουρα τελικά αυτη η μικρή μετατροπή στο κρανος έκανε θαυματα σε αυτη την μινιατούρα.
Το ολο σκηνικό είναι καταπληκτικό καθώς καθως και ο Ερμής είναι εξισου υπέροχος, αλλωστε στο είπα και από κοντά ότι η μινιατούρα είναι απιθανη αδελφέ.
Chris broke this to the figure you end this little modification to the helmet did its wonders on this miniature.
The whole scene is amazing as well as Mercury is also beautiful
