Well this was a steep learning curve but it hasn't put me off getting some more Alpine figures, they certainly lived up to their reputation for top class sculpts and quality, maybe next time minus camouflage. :wacky:
After two or three attempts at attaching realistic looking rifle slings I gave up but I'll give it another try in the next day or two.

Roger mate......I see you've made a bit of a forced landing on sausage side(or in 17th century spelling:sausidge).Just kidding of course these are lovely figures painted to your usual high standard.Well done my friend!

Thank you Oda.
For years I've been hearing "Oh no, not another WWII German " so I decided to find out what all the fuss was about. The verdict is bring em on! :D

Very nice learning curve. I think it is easier to put the slings on the rifles prior to setting the figures in place? :nailbiting: Seems easier to get to. Well done Roger.
Cheers
John

Thanks John.
My feeble attempts at attaching the slings were as you suggest John. I decided to glue em down before frustration caused some kind of catastrophic "accident".
