As I paint back to front,;) I've started this superb sculpt from Alpine. Now the question is, should I go further with the highs & lows? More smoothing to do now that I've photographed it, but isn't that always the case.
Carl.

I would say wait on going further with your highs and lows. Put some more of the surrounding colors in before you blend it some more. Once you have those laid in, you will be able to tell if you need to blend anymore. Looking good so far....

Looking very good, Carl! Your works are full of stunning touches lately. What does the devil look like? (I know this is a cliche thing to say)

These pictures afford just the angles needed to inform the cracking figure this is. Thanks for the thread!

Carl, a nice start and l'd go with the popular choice of adding a few more highlights . Looking forward to seeing it and any progress later today.

Cheers Ken

Looking good mate and I agree the contrast looks very OK to me, its a cracking figure from Alpine.

All the best mate

Stunning job so far Carl, the jacket is simply a joy to look at.

I have this figure but will be incorporating it in to a scene in the future and if my paint job is half as good as that then I will be chuffed.

Good stuff matey and following.................
