Hi All
This is a new Alpine Figure I'm painting for box-art.
It's a 1/16 German SS NCO in Russia 1943.
A couple of pics of the assembled figure

More pics to follow

Yep, my grey army will have another recruit:D Any word on a release date? I'm currently working on five Panzer Grenadiers in 54mm, all eastern front and its nice to strike while the iron is hot, so they say.

This is a lovely figure taesung.

Will be watching this one come to life.

The figure primed in Tamiya Dark Green with airbrush

Some rude highlights have been applied with airbrush to show the volume, using Lifecolor Dark Green mixed with Vallejo Flat Green.
Lifecolor paints are very convenient to paint camouflage due their absolute flat finish.

Every thing that can interrupt the smock camo pattern has been outlined.
The collar and patches already painted.

Meanwhile I've started the face painting. Also I've done a first approach to the Oak Leaf camo on helmet cover.

Love it so far!
I think Jaume's face painting has changed from the past...

Improved I say, more dimensional depth and lifelike. (y)
Yes, I agree. Damn, look at those eyes! :)

This figure will be available in late March or early April... well as soon as Jaume is done with it! :)

Outstanding facial tones and a great start to the rest! I have admired your work for some time Jaume. Your box art for the Mantis Grenadier is fantastic! This one will be no exception.(y) Taesung, will you have this figure available at the upcoming AMPS show?

I missed Jaume´s work to Alpine box art´s for a long time and now this great return with a super sbs.(y)
Teasung, it´s good to see this Gem painting by the hands of Jaume Ortiz.;)
Nice start BTW.

Pedro.

Jaume, I've been a big fan of your work and I've been reading your Osprey book over and over again for so long and I agree this opinion. I thought your style has already established in world-top-quality but ..... you are still in progress!! Amazing.

This amazingly sculpted and painted model is in my to-buy list!
