Amati continues to present its classic and evergreen Usti Poste Militaire remained in the warehouse, and seeing the interest obtained by the models are thinking of turning out something new in the future ... Who knows, perhaps returning officer ...

Does anyone remember if VERLINDEN did a Dracula figure ??
I ask because I painted one as a gift many many many ! years ago for my sons headmaster Dr David Docherty in Essex, London.
A very talented and dedicated man he may be known to those of you who like historical crime fiction..he has written over 30 books such Brother Athelstan, etc.
He also happens to be a World authority on Vlad Dracul so when my sons came to leave school I thought it would be a nice gesture of thanks..Dedicated teachers are to be cherished..
With the money he has made from writing he need not work at all, especially a stressful job such as a headmaster !!
Anyway I was thinking about that figure recently but can find no clues as to who made it ?
I am talking over 20 years ago..I am sure it was Verlinden.
A married father of 2 teenagers did not have a lot of disposable income :D

I thought the Brother Athelstan books were written by Paul (P.C.) Doherty who is a headmaster in England.
I always enjoyed reading the books and if some are written by David Docherty I will check them out.

It'd be nice to see the characters sculpted.

You are quite correct...Slight Brain-F..t...More and more of those these days :)) Oh joy of 60 odd years..Or maybe it's the price to pay for the 60's in Liverpool...Those I do remember :))
I had so many of his books which he used to sign when he gave very interesting talks on Friday evening parents nights.
Had to leave them behind in London when Marriage broke up and I moved to Italy then here in Warsaw..
