I came across a nice resin figure the other day of an American Indian in a British redcoat during the Revolution.

It was 90mm or larger, but now I can't find it! Damn..

I think it was Blackfoot or Mohawk or another northern tribe. Very nice detail.

Any ideas? The cover art had the forehead painted in a dark blue I think...

This was it. But I can't find the maker's website...

I don't mean to rub it in. You have excellent taste. I did this a few years ago. One of those very very rare figures - in that I cannot decide the best viewing angle. Its that good. I wish you luck in finding one.

I have asked Stormtroopers if they could do any more. I suspect not... Nevertheless I'll keep looking.

In the meantime, I'm going to find happiness in another of Carl Reid's Indian figures with a similar theme:

Thanks Jeff, saw that one in my travels. A bit small for me though. I'm now smitten by Carl Reid's figures...

Carl Reid has always been one of my favorite sculptors of works to paint and I've painted quite a few. Sadly, I don't see anything anymore.
I flat out refuse to paint a computer generated piece of sculpture.

Carl is still around and knocks out a figure or two under his own name from time to time. He may or may not still be sculpting for other companies (I'm not sure, someone else might know). He used to come on here but I think he stopped posting some time ago. He seems to be mainly active on Facebook these days.
