Hello friends!

I want to show you the last miniature (scene this time) i,ve made for Knight Models, this is a new release for December.
It´s the ultimate fight between Anakin and Obi-wan at the endindg of the "Revenge of the Sith" . I´ve tried to capture the dramatic quality of the duel combining two different moments: the one when anakin try to strangle his master Obi wan (this happens indoors on a big table) and the fighting on the small platform over the fire stream.
The scale is 1:30.

Hope you like it!

Wow, Superb piece of work!!
With which material did you sculpt the figures?

Cheers,
Marcel.

Thank you Marcel. The material is Milliput Yellow-Grey for the figures and Plasticar and a piece of wood for the platform.

Alfonoso,

Like I said, excellent piece! How did you go about engineering the figures?

Did you sculpt the figures in their entirety and then cut them into parts? if so, how!? Or perhaps were the parts sculpted as seperate parts to start with? If you sculpted it in parts, how did you manage to keep the poses so interactive and so fluid, with several seperate pieces?

Many questions! I have a lot to learn regarding engineering of kits, and this is a good example of how to do it!

First of all I place the two metal skeletons in the right pose on the platform and I started modeling both of them togueter at the same time. This very important in order to get a correct movement and a beautiful composition.

When both basic anathomies were finished I separated them but i had to join them constantly to understand how the clothes move and see the general aspect of the kit.

Ididn´t cut them in pieces untill they were almost completly finished.

Bye!
