Hello planeteers,
I finished yesterday for my Dads 85th birthday (he's only been waiting since August ) this superb figure of Colour Sgt. Bourne. My Dad said it was worth the wait and he was over the moon with it. Hope you like it too.

It was my Dad who first took me to see Zulu at the flicks in the early 70's when I was a young sprog and I've been hooked ever since.

The figure is 120mm Mike French Tiny Troopers figure painted in acrylics.

I have also added a couple of conversions I am on with. I would like to say a big public thank you to my mate Steve Readdie (y):) for his coaching, guidance, help and support. Even when I had to get the saw and putty back out, his observations were right on the money. Cheers mate.
cheers
Richie

Good to see C/Sgt Bourne on here mate, cracking job on him and no wonder your old man was happy.
Your conversions are coming along nicely now, will make for a good collection when all completed.

You know where I am if you need anything(y)

All the best mate

Steve( recent Zulu convert :))

Hi All,
Thanks for the response.

Daniel - Thanks for the nice comment. Only work is getting in the way, I have loads of ideas on the go for this period.:)

Paul - The likeness is superb  that is what first drew me to the figures. Zulu is definitely in my top 3 (y), but we won't open that debate again.

Carl - Cheers, I know what you mean :p, by the way I got some old nags sorted too. Mounted Zulu War figures here we come.

Steve - Cheers mate you know I will come a knocking, your help has been invaluable, glad to see you converted:D:D

Dan - Thanks for the nice comment, I really want to get these conversions on the go and make some of the lesser known volunteers regiments:sneaky:(y)

Ken - Thanks for the nice comment, watched Zulu for some inspiration while I was painting this. Can't wait for the holidays to get some serious modelling done, hangover permitting:whistle:

Thanks all again for the comments that will keep me motivated and moving along on this venture.
cheers(y)(y)(y)
Richie
