Familiar with Eddard Stark? (Not at all related with Tony Stark :))

Is it only me or is anyone else getting sick of wolfskins draped across busts shoulders.
I imagine where worn they were purely decorative, signifer etc but I'm guessing had little thermal or protective value.
When engaged in combat the first thing to go would be anything likely to restrict movement. Obviously in this case it's a recognisable character with an identifiable image, so works.
It looks like a very decent offering bound to be successful.
Cheers

Del,

I imagine the wolf would have found the skin to have a great deal of thermal and protective value not purely decorative. But as you rightly pointed out, after combat it was the first thing to go.
Enough of that. This looks like a great sculpt and one that I would probably purchase. Cheers,

Boots

It's Dire Wolf fur I'd imagine, as House Starks sigil is a Dire Wolf, but yes there's a few figures out there now with acres of fur, must be the season for it, "Winter is coming" after all.
It's a really good likeness of Ned Stark, will go nicely with the Nuts Planet "absolutely no connection to Game of Thrones" busts, I might just have to add one to the grey army, just need someone to do a Joffrey and Cersei or Arya Stark with "Needle". Just waiting for Andrea miniatures to release the DVD on painting busts.

It's also a featured build in International Figure magazine #54, the bust comprises of 9 parts inc a base, the torso, head and wolf skin are resin, the hair, arms and sword are white metal, it's also the included kit with the new Andrea DVD, Painting Busts in Acrylics, due out August, £63 ish inc the kit.
