Mathieu, Nice job on the finished project. The snow on the clothing is a nice touch. I especially like the traces of snow around the rim of the drum.~Gary

Salut Mathieu:

Top notch. Tell me something about the Montreal show (when, where, size of event, etc)? I am in the Toronto area but I was unaware of this event. Too late now but I may have to add it to the calendar for next year.

You'll find the poster here: http://www.lelancier.com/AMFQ2006.html

As you can see it is next weekend, 18 and 19 of March at Fort Stewart on St Helen Island in Montreal. In term of size and caliber I cannot say unfortunately. It will be the first time I will assist to it myself. It is suppose to be the event of the year in Quebec but I barely know more... Sorry!

Hi Mathieu!

A well painted figure and a gold well deserved.

Can you tell me how did you get the snow on the different parts of the figures?

Awaiting for further projects,

Cheers,
Paulo

The snow is a mix of bicarbonate, water and PVA glue with powdered glass sprinkled on top. For the clothes just use the basic mix a little bit more diluted and apply at the desired location. You can always replace or thin the snow when almost dry with a wet brush.
