Hi everyone!

I just started this beautifull bust of Pedro Fernández from the well know historical series produced by Heroes & Villains. I still thinking about the armoury, maybe Richard de Clare, 3d Earl of Hertford, I'll see.
The metallics were worked with Scale 75 Metal'n Alchemy set, the face with Vallejo Acryllics. Some pointilism for the beard with Orange Brown and Chocolate Brown.
Here are some first steps!
Cheers,
Nicolae

Thanks a lot, Scott, Kevin and Paul.
Kevin, regarding the helmet, it was somehow a complicate process, I worked untill I was satisfied with the result. I appealed again to the Metal and Alchemy Steel set from Scale 75. After a Black primer from Vallejo, I used many mixtures of Scale 75 Black Metal and Vallejo71073 Gun Metal Metalizer as a basis upon which I came gradually adding some layers of Scale75 Cobalt Alchemy, and then Heavy Metal. For the extreme lights I used a snall drop of Speed Metal and some Heavy Metal. In order to break some monotony, with the help of a very used brush, I stipple the helmet, especially in darken areas, with Vallejo 72745 Charred Brown, English Uniform, 70814 Burnt Cadmium. It was some go and back process. For the darken areas, I used a sponge with Black and Black Metal after that I applied a very diluted layer of Black and Blue Ink from Vallejo. The metallics rivet strips are made on a base of Black Metal with 70898 Vallejo Dark Seablue, then worked with Thrash Metal and Heavy Metal from Scale 75 set. The same mixture ink placed around the buttons.
Hope to give you some idea about it.
Cheers,
Nicolae
