Paul Phillips: “Painter, Sculptor” – Avoid this thief and liar
Sadly, after years of trying to resolve my project with Paul – I now am forced to publicly expose him. I wish for you not to endure the suffering I have.
He has taken my money for 3 figures and will not refund it or send the completed artwork to me either. I have tracked him over the years with different telephone numbers, emails and Facebook accounts – only to be ignored and cut-off time and again.
Currently active on Facebook: “Paul Phillips artist”
We were introduced by a respected fellow here back in 2014. He showed me his previous work and we initiated the project in October of that year. Progress was quick and the work was of a very high standard. Unfortunately, the excuses started coming during the forth figure (he still had them all and I had paid for three already).
His excuses for delaying included:
After 9 years, I did eventually convince him to send me the three completed figures, but alas they never arrived. He stated that Royal Mail had them at the depot (apparently no-one was at my address, however I never did get the PO advice slip through the door) and that he would collect it. He never did repost them – I literally begged him.
I have managed to speak to some of his family members, only one was willing to reach out to him to mediate… he avoided them as well.
I think he is an ex serviceman, which I furthermore respected, having seen his work (paintings) for veterans and various parades/ occasions he attended, etc (FB page updates).
Save yourself time, money and certain disappointment – please avoid Paul Phillips.
Regards
Pierre

- I have lost me job
- I am moving
- I have not setup my studio/ workspace yet
- I have just come back from hospital
- I have a broken wrist
- I have lost my mojo/ motivation
