Hello all

Here is my first WIP, I present you the Anubis diorama from OMEN

This will be my first "expensive" miniature, so please bear with me :D
I took some photos and will start painting it today, the first stage will be the primer.

What kind of primers do you guys usually use in resin figures? Im thinking of using Ammo Mig black primer since it dryes with a slightly microscopic texture wich is a great base for acrilyc paints.

The poses look ultra realistic, and it was really simple to put the figures together, minor use of putty is needed to fill some gaps, overall ... an amazing sculpt. The scepter handle was a bit bent, so I used a toothpick wich has the exact same size.

Here are the pictures (im still working my way into using my new camera, so some photos may be a little shaky)

Hi there Joao

Great to see this being started , Hugo will be pleased

Good pictures on a very large project

As regards primers , I use black auto spray , some preference to gray or a white

Look forward to seeing this progress

Hey Nap, thanks for the tip! I sprayed black primer all over the figures, and today I will hit it again with a gray primer on the upper surfaces to give it some kind zenital lighting.

Hi Joao

Your right that's the way , some spray above using a gray or white to hit the highs

Are you painting the many parts separately or as a whole built up ?

Look forward to more

Happy benchtime
