anyone familiar with h&v Sherlock and Holmes

I have only seen these 2 busts painted for a lack of the proper term with line design in the clothes and hat . Being new to this size of busts would solid color clothes be appropriate here ? Thinking of getting soon thanks

These busts are really nice , well sculpted nd full of character .

Solid colours ...Watson yes IMO but Sherlock ...got to be chequered as on the H & V website .
