I took a chance and bought a set of these acrylic pens, extra-fine point. I've tried them on paper, and they seem just fine for dotting and lining, which could make certain detailing needs much easier.

But before I put pen to bust, I thought I'd check and see if anyone has used them, likes/hates them, or has any tips or tricks regarding their use and application.

Any help will be appreciated! :)

Not heard or used these but they sound good for detail work but not sure how the tips would hold out or how or if you could mix them

I would suggest you try them out on a older bust

Here's an 8-minutet video on the basics of these pens, including blending. I'm not saying these are across-the-board substitutes for traditional processes, but they may open up better detailing capability for those without the brush skills:

ive used them on my Fred and Barney and Tintin dioramas, for lining around the cars and the figures, to make them look like the drawings.... ive also used them for rendering graphics in 2D. Dont think theyre able to be blended(y)
