APG Fundraising Figure

Here's a peek at a new piece donated to the APG by Anders Heintz. It's a 75mm Confederate Standard Bearer sculpted by Anders. The kit consists of 6 parts (no base) and some plastic strip for a canteen strap and wire to secure the flag to the pole. Price is $35 plus $5 post and is available only from the APG by writing to [email protected] and soon from our website http://artistpreservationgroup.com/apgstore.htm. I'll have some at the APG table at the MFCA Show this weekend.

This is a very nice piece and the sky is the limit for uniform colors and flag variations.

PS There's a very good rumor Doug Cohen will be painting this one and donating it to the APG Show auction this Aug in Gettysburg.

Nice looking figure - Anders' sculpting has really improved over the past couple of years.
I'm really tempted to get this figure to add to the 'gray army'. I bought a raffle ticket at SCAHMS and I'm hoping for either the custom figure/bust or Ron Tunnison's beautiful drummer boy.

We're having another raffle at the BBQ Sat night. Anyone purchasing a BBQ ticket will receive a chance at the drawing for a free night and breakfast at the Wyndham. We plan to have quite a few door prizes including some gift cards from Advance Auto in the amounts of $250 and $100.

Last count from our Show Chairman has us at over 125 vendor tables sold.

I would recommend that anyone considering coming make their hotel reservations as soon as possible. We have a block of rooms set aside but that will go fast and there is another group, the American History Forum, meeting there that weekend.
