Yes they certainly are, and at this point I'll have to express my horror at you lot expressing blatant patriotism in such a flagrant manner. Shame on you all. I thought you knew better. I'll have to lie down for a bit in a dark room listening to a tape of whale noises to get over it all. Then I'll listen to Pomp and Circumstance by Edward Elgar.

Blimey! The English Celebrating St Georges Day!

Tomorrow I'm off to a place called Wrest Park for an English Heritage St Georges day celebration. Previous years there's been medieval, roman, celt, victorian, WW2 re-enactors, and last year we had a display of late roman cavalryman archery! Proper research stuff too, no stirrups full on! Cool! (actually timed to show up how wrong "Arthur" the movie was.
