Alrighty, here's another figure, I started it just after the MMSI show with all the renewed sculpting enthusiasm, then set it aside for a few months. I think it's about time to pick it back up again I have his sword blade made in aluminum, you can't imagine how many tries it took to get the fuller lined up on each side.

Ethan, interesting project, I like the Medieval Period and some fantasy, sometimes I would like to make my on figures, but as always come the fear to make a big mess, How do you the Mail Coat?, do you have a special technique, it looks simple

There was a post in the sculpting forum about making chainmail, you might want to check that out. The method I use is to take a fine sewing needle and sand down the eye so it is really small and round. I use Green Stuff for chainmail. Simply go up and down with the eye of the needle alternating between a line in one direction and a line in the other direction. The results look good (I think) and are easy to do, it just takes a little bit of patience. If you mess it up, just turn it into a tear with missing links Good luck!
