Hi im new and i like to share with you this piece..this is my first man in clay so i dont know how paint his armature and i dont like the armguards and his sword..can you help me please..if you know some tutorial about painting an armature and making a sword for making more realistic..critiques are wellcome

This is a fantastic sculpture...amazing, really.
If I were you, I would show as much of this figure's body and musculature that you have so expertly sculpted... it is just beautiful.
When you say "clay" it looks as if it's Super Sculpey...I think you should prime it before you paint it with a grey primer...or any color...but painting directly onto the raw Sculpey will present a struggle, unless you are looking for a particular effect.
I looked in the "newbie" section but did not find your post...

Thanks! yeah i used super sculpey..well i want to a an archangel more men and a litle crazy so this is my first time to painting..the head and the body i painted with a tutorial that found here, priming first with a pale colour..but i dont know hot to paint the armour..i think i have to do a wash isnt it?

Why, the anatomie of the muscles don't look like a human anatomy.

Thanks! now im painting her armor so soon i will post more photos with him finished.
Well of couse he is a fantastic figure i wanted make his anatomy a little overexagered a potent warrior
Well i puted him a armor because when i m baked super sculpey he had a lot of moonies..so i thougth that i had to put an armor..next time i will use proesculpt that has less moonies.
