Alpine Figures 1:35. I've painted them in acrylics.

So funny Rob...

these are exactely the figures, when painted this way, that gave me a certain glance into my eyes when I was a kid, looking for good examples.
At this moment, it still does and without even looking at it when writing this it's the perfect balance of the figures, regarding the paintwork, that I find very attractive.

The basework is also a nice extension, bravely done, though I would have chosen a trunk to have a little more depht added to this foliage.

But hey, superbly done.
Would love to have a glance on this one in real.

Very fine presentation, Rob

Hello Rob:

I like the way you've displayed these two figure very much. And your whole
concept of having the figures on an elevated base about the "lower" base is
an excellent idea. I haven't seen this done before. :)) Of course, I don't get
out that much here lately. )

Your superb painting of those well sculpted Alpine 1:35th scale figures is
impressive. If I didn't know better I would guess the figures to be of a larger
scale. Well done. Love your work on the difficult camo patterns as well.

Hi Guys,

Tx! for the remarks. You're to kind.

I'v painted these figures for an article in a clubmagazine in the Netherlands. The club is called Twenot. They are tankhobbyists. They wanted an article on figurepainting. So here they are.

They are representing Joachim Peiper and his commanding officer Werner Poetschke during the Ardennes offensie in 1944.
