I reported the Industria Mechanika figure to the owner. The owner reported to ebay and the item was taken off of ebay for now.

I already mentioned it here. Unfortunately, when there are market inefficiencies, there is an opportunity room for knock offs.

All you guys please take a look at the bid history and at the final value of this piece:

I purchased already Young Miniature busts for LESS, right here on Planet Figures forum.

When someone can sell highly wanted products, yet not legitimate, with this visibility - just expect the worst to existing brands. As Graham cleverly stated, don't expect novelties!

Excellent! This is precisely what we need to do. We can inform ourselves and the community, of course, so that each buyer can act and avoid the pirate copy. But ultimately, only the copyright holder has any standing to do anything with any lasting impact.

Prost!

I fell victim to one of these sites a couple of years ago....before I was aware of PF:sick: What I thought was a real find of an 'old' 54mm Le Cimier Napoleon turned out ,on delivery, to be a ghastly recast. And yes, it was from the Eastern bloc. Once bitten.......... It's sometimes hard on a limited income, but better to save those pennies and buy from a known reputable source. I know, preaching to the converted

Cheers, Alan
