I think that there are more "Johnny Depps of the Caribbean" than movies.

While I am getting a little tired of all of Captain Jack figure (they have become the ss dude in camo or the 5th NY of the pirate genre), this is pretty cool and can be painted in a variety ways given the the figure is not taken directly from the movies. I will be getting this one!

Too Hollywood for my tastes now, but has a lot of nicely sculpted elements. Have to add though, if pirate figures were sculpted accurately they would probably not sell well given their likely real appearance (very drab, even parochial, compared with the romantic imagery).

Should be advertised as the 1715-1720's not 1670, that's the buccaneer's time.Very nice figure.
