Hi Sergey,
FANTASTIC. I come from a sea faring port which houses an historic maritime museum, including the worlds oldest British Frigate (HMS Trincomalee) of the Napoleonic Era, fully restored as the oldest vessel of her type to remain afloat. Your piece would certainly grace that museum.
Absolutely brilliant work mate.
best wishes
Richie

Richie, nice to hear kind words from a man who knows the sea.

This is an absolutely superb piece of modelling. I do hope the figures will be made available as commercial castings (via Victory Miniatures??).

I have one niggle. I know that the kit instructions show single thole pins, but thole pins usually come in pairs (http://intheboatshed.net/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/victory-yawl-4.jpg), and launches usually have gaps in the wash strake for oars (http://www.hms-victory.com/index.php?Itemid=107&id=74&option=com_content&task=view). This view shows the hull sides and the oars well (http://modelshipworld.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=208013&sid=17ca7a5ab7d2bd9c593f7fbd965c67ff).

I look forward to the work progressing. Are you going to put the launch in a sea scene, or leave it on its base?

Very best wishes,

Mike

Hello Sergey

How can I purchase a set of these crewmen for my launch? Please let me know. Thanks Keith From Troutdale,Oregon USA
