WIP Arnhem

Hi, yeah Miniart are very versatile, not the best plastic compared to Dragon and Masterbox but still good. I didn't realise they came with resin heads now, been a while since I bought any, that is a great improvement.

Can I recommend a great book that in part covers the battle at Arnhem, plus a great deal of other theatres in WWII.

Really is a good read.

Yeah the resin heads are a great help, all plastic kits like these need a head change unfortunately. Thanks for the tip on the book.

Hi All,
Here are the 3 Miniart captured Para's put together, next I will do the 2 Germans from this set followed by the 4 Para's
from the Rigid Landing set as these all go in phase 3 post battle.

Hi All,
I have plummed for some more figures and got some I have been waiting on. The Resicast figures 2 will go into phase 1 The Road to Arnhem and the other 2 will go into phase 3 Post battle Arnhem. The two sets of Masterbox will go into phase 1. The master box figures also come with photo etched detail and decals.

I have finished the two German figures that are escorting/searching the Para prisoners, I have also got a Para radio operator done for phase 2 The Battle of Arnhem, but need to make the radio set, mic & headphones. I have also got ready one of the Resicast cast figures and one from the Rigid Landing set that will go into phase 3. All have had Hornet head changes.

Tomorrow I am hoping to assemble 5 figures and finish off another 3 that will go into phase 3 Post battle Arnhem. This make make a total of 21 figures for this part unless anymore turn up that I have forgotten about.

Hi All,
I have finished the 21 figures for phase three. The last five consist of 2 Para medics, 2 wounded Para's and a German taking photograph's. I have a Dutch building, wall setions and cobble base coming to make up the groundwork for this stage.
I'll continue with getting next 11 figures and equipment ready for phase 1 The road to Arnhem.

Hi All,
Slow going this week been doing a lot of stuff in the background including some more purchases.
I managed to make three customs figures in fighting poses and will make a few more for Phase 2.
Para kneeling with PIAT, Para standing firing down with Bren gun and a Para kneeling firing a
captured MP40.
