Hi All,
Well after some serious time in I have finally managed to finish the Last Stand of the 10th Battalion.
The original, created by artist, Derek Chambers FRSA, has been kindly donated to Friends of the Tenth and is now displayed in Airborne Assault, The Imperial War Museum, Duxford.
To be honest I don't think I could have put anymore into this one and I hope I have done his artwork proud.
I'll now have a think on what I am going to tackle or finish next.
Now it's finished I'll be able to join our club the White Rose Guild of Miniature Painters at the Royal Armouries in Leeds for the show next weekend. So if you want to see it in person come along.
Thank you all for the support on this, it really has helped keep my motivation and focus.
cheers
Richie

It was an epic task to undertake but you have pulled this one off Richie, excellent job all round and captures the original artwork brilliantly. Have you contacted the Friends of the 10th to show them the work?

Cheers mate

I am amazed by the sheer amount of detail that you have put in to this project, it is by any standards a winner. What next the Retreat from Moscow.;)
Hi Malkie,
Thank you so much. I don't do Napoleonics all that gold braid scares the **** out of me. Give me Denisons anytime. The next one will be another Operation Market Garden project and I will also start a Zulu war project.
