I finished this piece sometime in September - what a fun piece to paint! I tried to do a blind eye, clouded with heavy cataract layer. Not sure if I pulled it or not. Otherwise, I hope you enjoy this and feedbacks are always welcome.

Hummmmm, I seem to always be agreeing with Carl.
But that can't be a bad thing. I think your work is really fine. The glazed
over eye works quite well, seems realistic. And that was a good choice, to
move away from what is usually done on this popular bust.

I love the color harmony here, as Carl mentioned the shade and value of
the helmet in concert with the other earth tones you've picked. I notice that
even the flesh tones on the face are also in harmony with the rest of the
color choices. Very nice, and thanks for posting. It would have been nice to
see even more pix of the piece.
