I love this piece. I own this from an earlier manufacturer/distributor? Maybe I bought it direct from the sculptor? I don't remember, but it's a fantastic piece!!

Jay H.

Thank you all.
Thank you Jay, yes this model was and is still distributed by L'Alambic Miniatures. But as I am the sculptor I also sell him from my own as Artik Toys ;)

Gotta ask ! guys what the hell is a Steam Punk?
But whatever it is its fantastic:)

Ron

Ron, I could go into a huge diatribe explaining it or just send you over to this link and it should explain "Steam Punk". I think Jay's explination was his own interpretation of this beasty, and less to do with Steam Punk itself. HTH,

Jay H.

I believe that the movie,:The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" was "steampunk?
Jay II

Yes I think the same Jay II

I'm not sur Barney is truly Steampunk but when my brother Thierry MASSON did this concept sketch, he just wrote "Steamthing" on the name of the file he sent to me. I did the sculpt and used that name to show it in a contest in France (Ravage Mix open 2009). Then my brother gave him his real name BRN-EE -Barney- and we have kept "the Steamthing" too ;)
Anyway that's for the little story :p

Hello everybody,
I'm painting it, what a pleasure, great sculpting and original.
I hope to have it finished for the next Paint Demonium in Lille (France) on may 19th.
Highly recommended
Kind regards
Yves
