Good friends of good friends. They could put on an intimate concert with feeling and there isn't a lot like that about these days. I liked them and Roy is long passed. But I never did figure out those uniforms....all that leather looked Swiss to me.

Played rugby against them over 40 years ago. They were real P in the A's.
Still despite being more than a bit theatrical they could deliver a song.
Can't forgive them for the dirge that is Flower of Scotland. We should should have gone with Scots Wha Hae.

Hey Ron, Rabbies father came from the North East of Scotland. Born on a farm south of Stonehaven.
Rabbie himself helped on his fathers farm near Tarbolton so he was a son of the plough! He may bave been working in Edinbugh and other such places, but he came from Ayrshire, so he was never a Lowlander, he was an Ayrshire man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
