I finally completed the Ashigaru and posted full pics in my workbench of front, side, and rear. Let me know what I can improve on.

Guy-

Especially nice job on the patterns and colors on the "uniform / blouse".

The flesh appears a bit shiny?! Is this because he is running and is sweating.

Thanks Keith,
Yes, his flesh is shinny and more so because of reflection from the lights. I wanted him sweaty and hot from running.

Hey Guy,

Very pretty, if I can use that word here, great choice of colors. I'll bet he really stands out among your mountain man collection. The sweaty skin is a nice extra touch of realism. (y) (y)

Thanks for the kind words guy's. I did enjoy doing him and will start another Samurai soon. This figure does kinda stand-out alot in the case with the Mountain Men

Hello John,
I accumulated all the Poste Militaire Samurai over the years as they came out and told myself when I retire, I will paint them. I chose the Ashigaru first as he was a simple figure with the least amount of armor. I will probably do one of the Mounted Samurai by Poste Militaire. I also have the new 54mm Samurai by Pegaso but not sure I am ready for a small one yet. Pegaso also has the single foot Samurai and I want to get those and do as well. Hopefully all in this lifetime.
