Looking really good Kev
Thanks Jed,Looking really good Kev
Thanks Jed,
I’ve got to the point where I’m thinking of stopping but there are a couple of things I’m not quite happy with. I don’t want to run the risk of overdoing though, so I think I’ll put it to one side for a few days and look at it again with “fresh” eyes.
Gonna go back to my Australian Light Horse, which also need the finishing off treatment.
All the best
Kev
Really like how this has shaped up Kev & inspired by both figures.
How’d you make tin can?
So look forward to seeing Aussie Light Horse figure painted.
Did I mention this was a “Holy Grail” item for me ;-)

Hi Kev
Your certainly doing the figures credit looking at the last picture , a good uniform colour and the figures work well together
Why not enter a piece into the class of your choice in our May's FOTM comp and also vote in Aprils classes as well
....And enter in Vignettes & Diorama #3 which will be running till 31/12/21 with voting till 31/01/22
Msg me if needed
Always good to see the artwork
Thanks for sharing
Look forward to the ALH
Happy benchtime

Nice work, Kev - I like your rendition of the figures' insignia & is that an MM ribbon the standing figure's wearing?
Like Jed, I served with Steve in Northern Ireland & he did a couple of commissions for me. Great bloke, I too hope he returns to sculpting again one day because most of his WW1 pieces are classics - especially the ALH figure you've shown elsewhere on the forum.
Excellent vignette, catches the moment, superbly!
Kev,
PM inbound shortly.
