Just discovered this interesting - at least for me - miniature of the French nurse Geneviève de Galard, who was dubbed the "Angel of Diên Biên Phu".

Ms. de Galard was born in 1925 and is apparently still very much alive!! She was the only female nurse in the field hospital of Diên Biên Phu. Here's the Wikipedia link and there's also a short film here.
Anyway, the details:
Maker: Atelier Maket
Ref no: AM75-062
Scale: 75mm
Material: Resin
Prize: 39 €
Here's an original photo from 1954 (and another b/w one for good measure) and also one of Geneviève de Galard in the year 2019.

BTW: If you want to read more about L'ange de Diên Biên Phu and the battle for DBP, I highly recommend Martin Windrow's "The Last Valley: Dien Bien Phu and the French Defeat in Vietnam".
