Hello friends,
I have in my hands the first release in 75mm (1/24th scale) from the Historia Miniatures company of the well know Master Sculptor and Master Painter Christos Panagiotopoulos. It is a Greek theme of an Athenian Hoplite 479BC. It is casted in High Quality Resin (10 pieces) and one metal rod for the spear in case you prefer to change the resin one. Christos has done something that in most resin kits are neglected. He sculpt the holes and the relevant pins so the pieces fit together in the right places without the need of using metal pins, as resin is a light weighted material. Almost ready to paint. The only thing that you need to do is to remove the very small molding blocks with a small razor or sharp knife. I could not find any molding lines or air bubbles!!! Very impressive! I like very much the surface of this grey resin and the casting of YS Masterpieces. Take a look at the following photos for more information and personal evaluation.
