Thanks guys. Glad you like the presentation. I got the base from S3 in Russia, before the war started, so that's clearly off the table for the immediate future. But I really liked the brass plinth, which I got from El Greco Miniatures. Can't recommend that enough, and I will be ordering more of those for sure.
 
Excellent, superb work over a not easy to treat wrinkled face. Top level all over the bust.

Thanks Nap. The mix for the aguilette was an undercoat of Vallejo acrylic dark red and scarlet, and then Cadmium Red oils, with a little Lamp Black for shadows. The lace was really very straight forward; again Vallejo black grey was used as a base, and then I went almost pure Titanium white (the slightest hint of black to make a very light grey/off white) and painstakingly brushed/dry brushed that on to show the white lace.
