The first volume examines the works of famous modeller Danilo Cartacci. Thanks to new unreleased material, Cartacci presents step-by-step descriptions of his masterpieces and how to paint historic miniatures. The volume offers a great number of hints and tips, addressing to experienced modellers as well as beginners. The painting of a figure will be much easier after consulting this book.

I ordered mine from Colorado Miniatures when I first saw it on the Planet a few weeks ago and they had already sold out. Am still waiting for my copy on back order from them.

This is a wonderful book. I have been painting for 30 years. I have had the pleasure of taking Shep's class and being in SCAHMS for years seeing demos by Bill Horan and Steve Weekly, Mike Good. All of whom I have learned from but there is something in the way that this book is done that really got me to look at the way I have been doing things. It really got that spark of understanding going and I have been working hard to get my new shop finished so I can try out some of the things I have been reading in this book. It is really a good book.

Get it!

A great book!
I think it is a big help for the beginner and the experienced painter alike.
Get your copy while you can!
