Just finished up this one, a bit late for an Anzac Day tribute, unfortunately. It’s from the Tommy’s War range in 54mm scale, in oils and acrylics:

Hi Brian

Another fine piece of painting , liking the contrast between the uniform and the leather painting , nice weathering as well , the figure sits well into the groundwork naturally

A heck of a lot of detail work and a wonderful tribute to the brave ANZAC’s

Thanks for sharing

Looking forward to seeing more

Have fun @ the bench

A little beaut on a Tommy’s classic Brian. Appreciate tribute to ANZACs mate!
Great attention to detail with clear difference in jacket & trousers, plus nice looking brown leather webbing.
Liking tones on groundwork as well.

Agree with everybody here....nice work. As well as the leather work and weathering effects
there's some clever stippling to give subtle textures... far from easy at this scale. Seriously
impressive stuff...bravo !
