Cuirassier in 75mm scale from Avanpost studios.
Excellent sculpt and casting and pure joy to paint. I have added some bulk to his moustache and sideburns. The sword belt had some brass retainers added and the clip to hang the sword up.
The whole figure was painted in acrylics both Vallejo and scaleclour artist. Originally the base was circular but I squared it off (I only had squares bases)
I have gone for the 13th Regiment of Cuirassiers, as I like the facing colour, based in Spain of 1810-12.

Nice job there Bob. The blue is spot on and the buff on the pants is very nicely done. It's a change to see a cuirassier sans cuirass and with the bonnet de police in lieu of the tin hat! I'm not familiar with the manufacturer but I soon will be!

Nice one mate (y)

I like the pose and the dark blue of the uniform (which I often see painted too light)
Cheers

Paul, this is what drew me to the figure, appreciate the comment re the blue.
Thanks you again

Phil, appreciate the comments re the pants and the blue, thank you. Avanpost studios are members on here.

Nap, Cheers mate, are you not tempted to the see the light. Thank you for the comments.

Ken, Thank you my friend, kind words indeed and it's really appreciated.

As usual Bob, a very nice piece of work I've always liked the combination of dark blue and 'lies de vin' for the facings. Always a pleasure to see your figures. Regards Pete.

Thank you Pete, I must admit I am begining to like the French Cuirassier, the next may be the pink facings.
Appreciate your input and comment, thank you.

Lovely finish on this one Bob. Like the choice of colour for the facings. Great looking figure.
