You do it again , brilliant concept and use of busts to tell a great story , you can almost hear the shouting and hooves thundering over the ground.
Especially like the trumpeter but the wounded one looks rally effctive
Looking forward to more

Hi Jason, thanks for your kind coments, this bust is based on the 8th regt of cuirassiers which captured the Kings colour of the 69th rgt of foot at the battle of Quatre Bras 1815.Nice!
Whats the source for the cuirassier with the colors? Napoleonic's aren't my thing, but that one looks so nice I think I would like to give it a shot.

Many thanks john for your kind coments,to be honest john, when I paint flesh I normally have to do it over 2 or 3 sessions as I tend to lose the contrast I want after the first session,so I always keep returning to it until I'm happy with the result,I'll quite happily share my mixes with you, just drop me a message,I think in really large scales you can get away without too many highlights, but in this scale I think you need to exaggerate the lights more.A Brit trio sounds great! Have you ever made an SBS of your flesh tones? The style is very distinctive to you and I am a big fan, I never seem to have the courage to use such strong flesh tones but want to learn as it works so well.

Hey Brian, thanks for those kind comments mate,in terms of patience then you must be up there with me after seeing your Saladin, now that's what I call patience and top level brushworkMy hat goes off to you Brian,as you must have the patience of a saint to embark on another cracking bustorama.
Hi Tony, you mean the frogie six some don't youBrian, you are a serious mental case. After your Froggie Foursome I thought you'd tackle something a bit more modest. This is yet more proof of your insane talent, vision and imagination. Kudos my friend.
