If you find the characters of "Avanpost" good, but 28mm is too dingy, I have good news for you now!

The guys from "Anvanpost" put on a new series, which will be called "17th Century - Age of Peaks and Muskets" - and the characters in this series are in the scale 75 mm!

The first one is already here!

Title: European Musketeer, 1630
Scale: 75 mm
Resin
Sculptor: Maksim Borodin
Number: 75001

Greetings, dear friends!
Thank you, Martin, for showing our new figure. I need to note only, that surname of our sculptor... no, Sculptor (that's better!) is Voronin, Maxim Voronin.
And I'm ready to answer all your questions, please, go ahead! :)

Avanpost has some of the most remarkable 28mm figures in the market, now some of the best 75mm too.Great start indeed!!!!

Oda.

That looks like an absolutely fantastic sculpt and casting but sadly for me even 75mm is too small for my aging eyes, however perhaps you would consider a 1/10 scale bust or a 120mm figure sometime in the future but every success with the 75mm series.

For this moment we don't plan to make bigger scales or busts. But who know what will be in future?

Would be useful to have a website link the one one above seems to take me to a blog...??

I am trying to find out the cost of this figure?

Keith

We don't have an official website yet (it's under construction), so all info can be found in or Facebook group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/avanpost.miniatures/). Feel free to use it in your blog
Figure price is 40 EUR (shipping not included).

I'm confused, but don't take it to heart, it happens easily for me....LOL

On the Facebook page some figures are in resin some in metal-is there a choice as I much prefer the resin figures?

Keith

Main production branch of our studio is 28 mm miniature for wargaming and collecting. There's 3 ranges: Russian Army of 1812, French Army of Napoleonic wars and Thirty Years War / English Civil War. First two ranges are presented in two materials - resin and metal. Resin is little bit cheaper than metal.
Third line is produced in resin only.
Need to say that there's very few difference in details in these two materials, especially after painting. So traditionally metal figures more suitable for wargaming, because they're heavier (more steady) and more durable. Resin is much lighter and more fragile (though may be used for gaming too).

As for bigger scale - 75mm will be offered in resin only.
