Details from Martin Rohmann's duplicate post

This shows the first "French" style uniforms

image.jpeg

Thus shows the later uniform with the " Kiwer" shako with slight uniform changes

That means: Austerlitz goes, Eylau also, but Borodino and Leipzig not!

Sorry, but wrong. We discuss it many times, but let it be once again :)
While making our first Russians, we studied this question hard, talked with specialists who saw documents; respected reenactors etc. And there are no any documents about 'Kiwer' with curved top in the army of 1812. No regulations, no production orders, no warehouse records - nothing. While there are many concerning 'French-like' shako with flat top.
The most reasonable thing - this curved-top shako was used in small quantity by troops of 'Foreign campaign' in 1813, possibly in Prussia. May be, some of them were in Paris. But not during Napoleon's Russian campaign of 1812.
More of that, in 1816 (if I'm not mistaken) new shako's model was adopted (and there are documents about it) - so this curved-top 'Kiwer's' life was short :)

Thank you for clarifying the details , always interesting to get such good research from companies

As I said the details were from Martins post

Great looking figures as well
